How to Find our Studio
As of November 2023, MXED GREENS is in studio #213 in the Paragon Building at 150 Pleasant Street Easthampton, between the Keystone Building and Mill 180 East. We have MXED GREENS signs up on each of the Paragon Building entrances, and at 3 corners of the parking lot.
Enter the Paragon building on the front or back side of the building at the doors labeled PARAGON in red - not the doors for Mill 180 (the hallways do not connect inside between the two buildings!) - see pics below
On the first floor, go along the hallway following the neon green signs that say "MXED GREENS ->" and up the stairs or freight elevator to the second floor, our studio door is just around the corner and well-marked (see pic above). If you get lost feel free to email or instagram message us.

Accessibility Notes
.
*please note: unfortunately, as of the end of March, the freight elevator closest to the studio has broken and we have been informed it may take months to fix. There is a second freight elevator on the far side of the building - Once you enter the building and are in front of Fitness Fusion, head down the first floor hallway past Fitness Fusion, turn left at the end of the hallway, and the freight elevator is at the far back right end of the final short hallway. We put up signs that say WORKING FREIGHT ELEVATOR with arrows. The freight elevators require operating by someone who can reach up to pull the gates open and push them closed (full operating details below). Once on the second floor, follow the signs for MXED GREENS down the hallway and our studio #213 is at the end on the right. Please reach out to us at mxedgreens[at]gmail[dot]com and we will happily meet you inside the first floor hallway by Fitness Fusion and assist you with operating the freight elevator and getting to our studio!
.
Mobility:
Front entrance: the parking lot on the Pleasant Street side of the building is paved with numerous potholes and gravel, with parking spots right next to the building and across from the doors. The entry has PARAGON in red letters and our MXED GREENS sign to the left of the door, which is a non-automated double door opening out, with a rounded lip from the pavement into the building's concrete floor.
.
Back entrance: The parking lot on the back side of the building is smoothly paved with two rows of well-marked parking spots, none of which are designated as disabled parking spots. The entry has PARAGON in red letters along with our MXED GREENS sign. The door has a strange design with a single door opening and high lip from the pavement over into the concrete floor, that is inside a larger wider non-automated door that can be opened from the inside to swing open to the width of the hallway to have a flat entrance between the parking lot into the building.
.
First floor hallway: The wide hallway is marked with MXED GREENS signs that lead down the hallway to the freight elevator or a flight of stairs. The freight elevator requires operating by someone who can reach up to pull the gates open and push them closed. (Please contact us if you need assistance with this.)
.
How to operate the freight elevator:
Push the button on the left to “call” the elevator. It will light up if it's on its way. If it doesn't light up and you can see the metal grate through the window, the elevator is there. The doors are heavy and push open from the center to the top and bottom, meeting at about 4 feet up from the ground. The metal grated gate is less heavy and can be pulled up from the ground with attached straps, and needs to be pushed up above the head of anyone entering. It is slow moving and will not fall on you. Once in the elevator, the doors need to be pulled closed using the attached straps, and then the metal grate pulled to the floor again. Then a button for which floor pushed at about 4 feet from the floor, which lights up when you press it. When the elevator arrives at the correct floor the process repeated to open and close the grate and door. The doors will not open while the elevator is in motion, and the elevator will not move to the correct floor if the doors are not fully closed on any floor. We know this is not nearly as accessible as a regular elevator, and will happily operate it with or for you.
.
Second floor hallway: from the stairs or freight elevator there is a short wide hallway to our studio door, which is double wide with a slight curved lip into the studio.
.
Bathrooms: There is an all-gender bathroom labeled RESTROOM directly across the hallway from our studio, which has a single door that opens in over a flat entrance, and another doorframe-width entrance to the toilet and sink zone. On the second floor there are also gendered single-stall narrow bathrooms down the hallway near the freight elevator, with a slop sink in the hallway.
.
Inside the studio: The floors are slightly uneven original 1800s wood flooring, with a few area rugs. There are multiple couches, chairs, stools, and a hammock to sit in. The product shelves and bulk herbs are from the floor to 6 ft high. We have a step stool for anyone to use in the studio or bathroom, and we are happy to assist in reaching anything.
.
.
Sensory:
Light: After dark, the front and back entrances to the Paragon building have a low outside light over each of them. The hallways in the building are well-lit with overhead fluorescent lights 24/7. In the studio there are non-fluorescent overhead lights, lamps, and string lights. There are 3 big windows that let in natural light as well.
.
Sound: During open studio hours, we have music playing from one small speaker. Feel free to ask us to skip to the next song or move the speaker farther away from you and we'll happily do so. In the bathroom across the hallway, there is a loud fan that goes on automatically when the lights go on. SHOW Circus is in the space above us, so occasionally you may hear kids running and tumbling when class is in session.
.
Scent: The hallways and bathrooms are regularly cleaned by Paragon management employees, and Lysol is frequently used. The bathrooms have unlabeled commercial hand soap at the sinks. In the studio, we have Mrs. Meyers hand and dish soap at the sink. Cleaning products used are Mrs. Meyers counter spray, Seventh Generation thyme spray, and rubbing alcohol sani wipes. We do not burn incense or scented candles in the studio, nor personally use essential oils, perfume or cologne. We do have a microwave and eat food in the studio during closed hours. There are hydrosol testers sprayed occasionally, and the smell of dried herbs creating a gentle herbal ambiance.
.
For ticketed workshops and events, everyone who registers will receive an email with detailed access notes before each event. Please reach out if you have any questions!
COVID-19 Considerations
We know that the pandemic is not over. As we continue to learn how to coexist alongside these viruses, it is important to us that MXED GREENS be a safe(r) space for everyone to enter, so in accordance with our values of community care, we require everyone to wear a mask while inside our studio. If you don't have one on you, we have N95, KN95, and surgical masks available for you at the door and kindly ask that you put one on for the duration of your visit.
All workshops in the MXED GREENS studio will require KN95, N95 or equivalent respirator masks for everyone, even while teaching/facilitating.
.
Thank you for respecting our decisions and protocols to practice community care and keep each other safe <3
