Mints of May
Join us for a sweet spring evening at MXED GREENS to drop in with lamiaceae family members as we swoop into Gemini season.
Our A Rosaceae Affair event in February was so lovely that we've turned this into a series, featuring a different plant family for each workshop. After this month, we'll pick back up again in late fall cozy szn!
During this workshop, we'll get to know various mint family plants through the experiences of tea tasting, somatic meditations of taste, and sharing individual and collective (hi)stories with these plants.
Date: Friday May 26th
Time: 6-7:30pm
Cost: Sliding Scale $10-30 (please review our sliding scale page for where to pay)
Space is limited, so advance registration is required
Please bring: a journal / paper & pen for reflections, your own mug for tea tasting, anything you'd like to add to the altar space for the evening, and a pillow/camping chair/blanket to get cozy and comfortable with <3
Access notes: Event is indoors and limited to 10 participants, and KF94, KN95, or N95 or equivalent respirator masks are required to be worn by all - we'll pull them down or to the side for sips of tea, but otherwise they remain on our faces :) We will also have our HEPA air purifier running. We will have a variety of chairs and pillows for seating options, and free KN95s at the door for anyone who needs one. The space + bathroom are wheelchair accessible.
