Queer Art Lounge is back for November!
Saturday, November 18th 6-9pm in the MXED GREENS studio
Bring a project, or play with materials we have in the studio ~ gather together for shared art time and chill vibes, feel free to come solo, bring a friend/date/your kids, and be social or in your own lane.
We'll have our linocuts out for printing your own clothes/fabric, embroidery supplies, and pens, markers, paper, and stickers etc for zines and card making.
We aren't charging for this event, but if you are linocut printing, $5-$10 donations will help us cover materials costs for the inks
all ages welcome ~ KN95+ masks required

Bring a project, or play with materials we have in the studio! this could be a fun time to work on your halloween costumes!
We'll have our linocuts out for printing your own clothes/fabric, embroidery supplies, and the usual pens/markers/paper etc for zines and card making.

✨ QUEER ART LOUNGE ✨
Saturday June 8th from 7-9pm we’re hosting an evening to hang out and be creative together! We will have materials available for: botanical inks, sewing + embroidery, and collaborative drawing on big papers up on the walls. Feel free to bring your own art project to work on (knitting! zine making! sketching! more!), either while socializing or just to be in company of other cute queers during pride month.
As always for events, KN95, N95, or equivalent respirator masks required and we’ll have some herbal bevs for ya 🍋🟩🫐🫧😷 ~ quick up-downs for sips but masks stay on other than that. We'll have air purifiers on and windows open. The space is wheelchair accessible - see our Directions & Accessibility page for full access notes.
Come through solo, with a pal, or a date! No registration or fee, but donations to cover materials are always welcome 💕

we’re hosting a clothing sale on Sat April 20th to fundraise for the Trans Asylum Seeker Support Network and want you to donate items and come shop them!
🍬To donate clothing: you may contribute up to 5 items per person (no accessories), must be clean with no rips or stains. Drop off at the MXED GREENS studio during open hours (Thursdays 2-6pm, Saturdays 12-5pm)
🍬To shop: come through MXED GREENS 12-5pm on Saturday 4/20! Pay via venmo, cash or card, we’ll post receipts of sending the total to TASSN

Accessibility info: MXED GREENS is located on ground level down 8 wide wooden stairs with a railing. Inside there are multiple options for seating or standing with music playing. There is a single stall bathroom up 1 flight of stairs inside. The courtyard will also have some folding chairs & a pop-up tent. Masks are required both inside & in the courtyard while not actively sipping an elixir spritzer. The shop is part of the Maplewood Shops off the Old South St parking lot which has disability parking spots, paid parking til 6pm. All ages welcome!
