Welcome back to a new season of MXED GREENS' Medicine Making 101 Workshop Series - Never Too Many Jars!
Each month from March-Sept (no class in July), you'll get to dive into a different herbal medicine preparation with us. All materials are provided, and you'll get to take home the medicine you make each time. Classes are held the first Thursday of each month from 6-7:30pm.

Class #6: Syrups - the last class of the series!

Time: 6-7:30pm
Cost: $10-$30 sliding scale (please review our sliding scale page for where to pay) For NTMJ classes this year, we are continuing to try to offer an accessible price point. $10 is the average base materials cost.In the absence of a sliding scale, we would charge $20 to cover materials costs and compensate ourselves for the labor of facilitating. When you pay more than $20, you are helping to subsidize the difference of lower-cost tickets, and allow us to continue offering these classes to community!
What you'll learn:
> Learn how to make an herbal syrup, with fresh and dried plants
> Know how to calculate appropriate ratios of ingredients and preservatives, as well as dosing
> Possible herb combinations for fall and winter syrups
> Tips for avoiding mold/spoilage, as well as troubleshooting
> for this class, please feel free to bring of your own 4-8 oz with a lid if you have one! (we will provide jars if you don't!)

Access notes: Workshops will take place at MXED GREENS' studio in the Paragon Arts & Industry Building in Easthampton. The space and bathroom are wheelchair accessible. Masks are required for all while inside, and we have free KN95s and N95s available for anyone. There are a variety of standing and seating options. Full accessibility information here. We will cap the event to 14 participants for space considerations.
