We are excited to welcome Abigail Rose Clarke to facilitate a workshop in the MXED GREENS studio on April 28th as part of her book tour for Returning Home to Our Bodies!

The body holds stories that can guide us to deeper understanding and richer relationships. And as we increase our fluency in these stories of the body, we can also bring an aliveness to our own writing, whether prose or poetry, whether we are writing for ourselves or for others.

In this workshop, join author and somatic facilitator Abigail Rose Clarke, author of Returning Home to Our Bodies and creator of The Body Oracle and The Somatic Tarot. Abigail will share ways to use the memories and stories of the body to enliven and deepen your own writing, as well as ways that embodied writing can help you gain clarity and uncover the stories your body is waiting to share with you.

This workshop is open to writers of all levels. Bring a journal you can scribble and sketch in, an open and curious mind, comfortable clothes (we might be moving but writing is always better in soft clothes). Abigail will have copies of her book and oracle deck available for purchase at the event.
.

Date: Sunday, April 28th
Time: 3-5pm

*All proceeds from ticket sales over $100 will be sent to the Gaza Mutual Aid Support Network, organized by Layla K. Feghali @RiverRoseRemembrance, who's new book The Land in Our Bones was also published this year by North Atlantic Books. (Donation receipt will be posted after the event for accountability.)

Cancellation/Refund policy: Please let us know if you need to cancel. We will offer you a refund if someone else fills your spot!

Access notes: Workshop will take place at MXED GREENS' studio in the Paragon Arts & Industry Building in Easthampton. The space and bathroom are wheelchair accessible.
